Our Mission

To generate research that informs engineering education so it we can keep pace with the shifting landscape of AI.

Our Objectives

  1. Develop and validate research instruments that measure faculty and student perceptions, practices, and readiness related to Generative AI in engineering, computing, and construction education.
  2. Examine faculty adoption patterns of Generative AI tools across technical disciplines, identifying opportunities, barriers, and professional development needs.
  3. Assess student engagement and learning outcomes associated with Generative AI use in technical education settings.
  4. Support faculty professional development by bridging pedagogy and AI.
  5. Inform institutional policy and governance decisions related to AI use, academic integrity, and curriculum design in Colleges of Engineering.
